Scientific Council

The Advisory Board defines the strategic objectives and guidelines of the School and evaluates its teaching activities on a yearly basis. It also assesses its scientific achievements every three years. The Committee is composed of:

  • President of the School
  • Director
  • Deputy Director
  • 6 leading global academic experts in the academic areas of the School

The Committee meets twice a year. Current Members of the scientific committee are:

  • Sergio Fabbrini (Director of the LUISS School of Government and Professor of Political Science and International Relations at LUISS Guido Carli)
  • Giovanni Orsina (Deputy Director of the LUISS School of Government, Professor of History at LUISS Guido Carli)
  • Sabino Cassese (Emeritus Professor at Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, Former judge of the Constitutional Court of Italy)
  • Simona Colarizi (Professor of History at La Sapienza University in Rome)
  • Marta Dassù (Senior Director, European Affairs, The Aspen Institute, Editor Aspenia, Rome)
  • Renaud Dehousse (President, European University Institute)
  • Erik Jones (Professor of European Studies and International Political Economy , Director of European and Eurasian Studies at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies of the Johns Hopkins University)
