After completion of their studies in Rome, students start a carreer within a European institutions or organisations operating in close to them. Students are invited to undertake a period for the internship either during their master courses or right after the conclusion of the courses or while doing their final dissertation. The conditions of each internship or stage depends on the conditions set by individual institutions, organizations or companies. .
LUISS will help students with the placement by exploiting its Italian and worldwide contact network supported by LUISS Placement Office. Moreover, over the years, the LUISS School of Government has establish internship agreements with:
- companies like ENI, Finmeccanica, ENEL, Telecom Italia
- European institutions such as the European Commission, European Parliament and several European executive agencies
- organisations like Confindustria, CENELEC, Unioncamere and several others.
The selection of internships regulated by these agreements does not lay within the esclusive competences of LUISS but depends on the professional and academic motivations of the candidates. Being enrolled in the M.E.S. at LUISS should sensibly increase chances to get an internship place provided that the student has an excellent academic performance.
As to facilitate a rapid start of their carreers, the School of Government will provide students with training in CV and interview skills, as well with the organisation of seminars where it is possible to meet and directly interact with professionals from international institutions and private corporations.
