This is a one-year multi-disciplinary course reflecting the need for international leaders who can reach across specialist fields to find more innovative solutions to difficult complex public policy challenges. It is practical, responding directly to the demand for international experts with advanced skills in negotiation, management and public policy analysis to deliver successful results. During this master students learn how international public policies are made, implemented and evaluated by national governments, international institutions, multinationals and civil society as a whole.

Linking theory to practice is at the basis of this Master course.

Students, therefore, will benefit from regular interactions with renowned global personalities through a set of parallel activities:

  • Guest Lectures: practitioners are invited to share their experiences.
  • Policy Debates: students are invited to exchange views in structured debates on current issues of public policy, moderated by public policy experts;
  • Colloquia: faculty members are to team up with guest practitioners to examine and present case studies linking theory to practical application;

The Master course also offers direct professional training for its students. In particular, as part of the programme,  interested students can attend specialised training for the new selection processes to become an official of the European Commission in the line with guidelines of the European Personnell Selection Office (EPSO) or to define and management EU and international projects.
