MASTER IN PARLIAMENT AND PUBLIC POLICIES (MAPPP)
Admission requirements: students that own a master’s degree or are graduated according to the old system
Qualification awarded: Second level Master’s degree
Credits recognized: 60 CFU (university credits) / ECTS (European Credits Transfer System)

The Master in Parliament and Pubic Policies is a second level master, aimed to train graduates for public competitions to access to Senate, Chamber of Deputies, regional and local assemblies, constitutional organs careers, also for State, European Union and territorial autonomies administrations. The course, also provides a specific training for who is interested to participate to competition for roles of public leadership and undertake functions inside Institutions of the European Union. Il MAPPP wants to train high officers of the representative, governmental and administrative institutions, providing them key and multidisciplinary knowledge about affairs linked to parliamentary modern system operation. The objective is to allow participants to manage a postgraduate training, thanks to it , they will dominate different disciplines , understand the relations and enforce them to institutional dynamics; this result will be reached also concretely by practicing with exam simulations.
Since the academic year 2009-10 associated to MAPPP has been activated a chair “Jean Monnet, ad personam, led by Prof. Andrea Manzella, about the topic “ The democratic principle of the European Union” sponsored by the European Commission with the purpose of facing the big questions related to the nature of representation both in the EU and its Member States.
