The Advisory Board defines the strategic objectives and guidelines of the School and evaluates its teaching activities on a yearly basis. It also assesses its scientific achievements once every three years. The Committee is composed of:

- 6 leading global academic experts in the academic areas of the School
The Committee meets twice a year. Current Members of the scientific committee are:

- Giovanni Orsina (Director of the Luiss School of Government, Professor of History at Luiss Guido Carli)
- Sabino Cassese (Emeritus Professor at Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, Former judge of the Constitutional Court of Italy)
- Simona Colarizi (Professor of History at La Sapienza University in Rome)
- Marta Dassù (Senior Director, European Affairs, The Aspen Institute, Editor Aspenia, Rome)
- Renaud Dehousse (President, European University Institute)
