Cybersecurity in a Global Digital Age: Policy and Management 

With the participation restricted to participants from the six countries of the Western Balkan region, this course is to foster “advanced cybersecurity policy and technological awareness”. By combining online and in-presence classes to be held at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, the course will empower participants with: 

  • Critical understanding of key issues and concepts in cybersecurity world affairs and international relations with a focus on Western Balkans region  
  • Advanced understanding of the European and global policies related to cybersecurity and digital transformation, with a focus on the impact on regional and national policies  
  • Increased awareness of the key role of cooperation between Italy and the Western Balkans in order to strengthen cybersecurity expertise of public sector and diplomats from the region  
  • Advance their knowledge as public sector officials of the crucial importance of cybersecurity focusing on the local context  
  • Establishment of a Western Balkan Informal Cybersecurity Expert Network
