Klaudius Wagemann is a Part-Time Professor at the School of Transnational Governance. He is a full professor of political science methods at the Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, where he also served as a Dean of Studies for several years and is currently deputy chair of the university-wide accredition commission.
From 2005 to 2012, he worked at the Italian Institute of Human Sciences in Florence (today part of the Scuola Normale Superiore), where he was mainly responsible for the scientific organisation of the political science PhD programme and for the teaching of methods. During his years in Florence, he also collaborated in research projects at the European University Institute (EUI) and with various US-American university programmes, most prominently with New York University Florence. He received his PhD from the EUI in 2005, after completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Constance in 1998.
His substantial interests cover organised interests, movement parties, and the Quality of Democracy.
