Massimo Egidi

Massimo Egidi Emeritus Professor of Economics, currently holds the Behavioral Psychology and Economics course at Luiss Guido Carli. From 2006 to 2016 he held the position of Rector of the University.

From 1987 he held the chair of Microeconomics at the University of Trento, from 1987 to 1995 Director of the Department of Economics and from 1996 to 2004 Rector of the same University. He was also President of the Bruno Kessler Foundation of Trento, from 2010 to 2014.

He has been visiting fellow at Washington University in St. Louis (1975), visiting professor at the Center for Research on Management at the Graduate Business School, University of California, Berkeley (1993); visiting scholar at the IIASA, Laxenburg – Austria (1994), at the Stanford University (2003), at the Santa Fe Institute (USA) and, more recently, at the Ecole Politecnique, the Ecole Normale Superieure and the Collège de France of Paris.

He was President of Schumpeter Sociery from 2018 to 2021.
