PhD in Political Science, University of Florence. Claudio Radaelli is Professor of Political Science (Anniversary Chair in Politics), Director of the Centre for European Governance and Jean Monnet Chair in EU Policy Analysis. He is currently visiting professor (part-time) at Sciences-Po, Paris, where he is teaching a course on EU governance with Renaud Dehousse, and also at the University of Agder within the PhD programme in Public Administration. He is expected to take on the co-editorship of the European Journal of Political Research, a world-leading journal of political science and the flagship publication of the European Consortium for Political Research, by August 2009. Over the last five years he has undertaken several projects on Europeanization, international taxation, discourse and the politics of expertise, and regulatory impact assessment in a comparative perspective, with funding from the ESRC, the Nuffield Foundation, the British Academy and the European Commission. At the moment, his major project is Analysis of Learning in Regulatory Governance, funded by the European Research Council for the period 2009-2013. Radaelli has published 11 authored or edited books and more than 60 articles in refereed journals, including Comparative Political Studies, European Journal of Political Research, Governance, Journal of European Public Policy, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of Comparative Policy Analysis, and West European Politics. His papers on Europeanization have been cited almost 300 times in Google-Scholar.
