Fondazione Med-Or and Luiss School of Government: a unique partnership

This innovative executive course builds upon the strong cooperation between Fondazione Med-Or and Luiss School of Government as both share the common strategic objective of becoming the regional hub for advanced academic training in innovative policy and technological domains.

Established in 2021 by leading aerospace, security and defense company Leonardo, Fondazione Med-Or seeks to promote cultural initiatives, research and education in science, with the goal of strengthening links, exchanges and international relations between Italy and countries in the Med-Or area, which spans the Mediterranean, the Sahel, the Horn of Africa and the Red Sea, as well as the Near and Far East. The Med-Or Foundation is an innovative, global and collaborative initiative seeking to combine the skills and capabilities of industry and academia for the development of geo-economic and socio-cultural partnerships. The Foundation collaborates with experts and professionals with longstanding national and international experience in the institutional, industrial and academic fields.

Established in 2010, the Luiss School of Government is currently one of Europe’s leading postgraduate institutions in preparing officials from the public and public sector to manage national and international public policy challenges. Over the years, the School of Government has focused on examining how technological and social developments are impacting specific public policies at national, regional and international level, in particular climate change, economic development, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and global governance. This focus is embedded in its post-graduate and executive programs, developed in cooperation with leading global academic institutions such as King’s College London, Hertie School, Centre International de Formation Europeene and Universidad Francisco de Victoria in Spain, United Nations Institute for Training and Research, as well as national institutions such as the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Italy’s National School of Administration and the European Commission.
