Admission procedure

To take part in the admission procedure, candidates must satisfy the requirements set out in the Competition Notice for the Master (Bando):

• English version
• Italian version

Applicants are required to hold at least a Laurea Triennale / Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent degree from a foreign university.

Students in the final year of their Bachelor’s degree may be admitted with reserve, provided they complete their academic requirements within the extraordinary session (March/April 2027) of the 2025/2026 academic year at their home university.

The Master’s programme selects students according to the following criteria:

• Academic merit: the quality and coherence of the university career, as shown by academic documents and CV;
• International experience: a demonstrable orientation towards international careers;
• Motivation: convincing reasons why and how the programme will foster the candidate’s personal and professional aspirations.

How to apply

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Luiss Postgraduate Application Portal: https://luiss-postgrad.dreamapply.com/

Phase 1 – Create your account

1. Go to the portal and click “Log in / Register” at the top right.
2. Select “I’m a new applicant”, enter your email address and click “Register”. You will receive a verification email to confirm your address.
3. Enter your full name exactly as it appears on your passport or national ID card, choose a password and complete the registration.
4. Complete your initial profile: phone number (with country prefix), citizenship, and acceptance of the privacy notice. Then click “Continue”.

Please note that only one account per applicant is allowed.

Phase 2 – Select your Master and fill in the application form

1. From “Explore our programmes”, open the page of the Master you are interested in and click “Apply now!”.
2. In the Priority tab, check that the selected Master and its deadline are correct.
3. Fill in the Profile tab (personal data) and the Contacts tab (address and emergency contact).
4. Fill in the Education tab (degree details or expected graduation date, if you are still studying) and the Languages tab (language skills).

You can click “Save draft” at any time and complete the form later, before the deadline.

Phase 3 – Upload your documents

1. Open the Checklist tab, click on each requirement, upload the requested file and update its status. The documents required are listed below.

Phase 4 – Submit your application

1. Check that every item in the Checklist is complete, then click “Submit” at the top right.

Documents

Mandatory documents

• A copy of your national identity card or passport;
• A detailed CV, including a list of professional experiences where applicable;
• A motivation letter explaining why you wish to attend the Master;
• Academic transcripts (degree certificates, list of examinations taken and results achieved) in the original language, with an English translation. If you have not yet completed your current degree or do not have a final transcript, submit an official interim transcript.

Additional documents

• A reference letter (or the contact details of a potential referee).
• Where applicable, a certificate of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or one issued by another recognised language institution).
