On the 25th of February, Russia launched a large-scale, surprise military attack against Ukraine, thus starting the first major conflict in Europe since the wars in former Yugoslavia. While events are unfolding rapidly and the near future is as unpredictable as ever, the seminar will reflect on the origins and possible evolutions of the conflict and discuss the implications for EU-Russia relations and the Putin regime itself. The second part of the event will be entirely devoted to the students' questions on what is happening.
