Giovanni Moro

Giovanni Moro is a sociologist. He works on citizenship-related issues, such as the crisis and ongoing evolution of democratic citizenship paradigm, organized civic activism in public policies, new forms of governance, corporate citizenship, European citizenship. His more recent books are the edited volume "The Single Currency and European Citizenship: Unveiling the Other Side of the Coin" (2013); "Cittadinanza attiva e qualità della democrazia" [Active Citizenship and the Quality of Democracy"] (2013); "Contro il non profit" [Against Nonprofit] (2014). He teaches at the Gregoriana University of Rome (Political Sociology, Public Policy) and is Scientific Director of FONDACA, a European think-tank based in Rome, Italy.
