Through the UN Model Programme, Luiss University intends to provide students with the necessary tools to disentangle themselves in the complex world of international relations, particularly in institutions such as FAO that play a fundamental role in today's world. The project also aims at fostering engagement and raising awareness on the linkage between food security and climate action.

Moreover, given the expected broad participation of international students, a further goal is to build a global network of students, equipped with the right tools, who are able to intervene in the social and political debate in their home countries and promote a holistic view of sustainability as a key component of human security.
