On July 26th, our University and the NATO Defense College will sign a Memorandum of Understanding in recognition of the mutual benefits accruing to their academic communities from the establishment of strong academic links. The purpose of this Memorandum is to promote cooperation between the two institutions through the exchange of staff and students, academic materials and publications and establishing reduced tuition fees and the recognition of ECTS for former students of the NATO Defense College interested in the MIPA course.

Adopting a broad conceptualization of foreign and security policy, the book examines the role of the High Representative as chair of the Foreign Affairs Council and in her/his capacity as Vice President of the European Commission to assess different patterns of integrated efforts in EU foreign and security policies. In this way, it presents a new perspective from which institutional practices in this specific area can be examined.
