With the participation restricted to participants from the six countries of the Western Balkan region, the new Course "Cybersecurity in a Global Digital Age: Policy and Management" aims to foster “advanced cybersecurity policy and technological awareness”. By combining online and in-presence classes to be held at Luiss Guido Carli in Rome, the course will empower participants with:
- Critical understanding of key issues and concepts in cybersecurity world affairs and international relations with a focus on Western Balkans region
- Advanced understanding of the European and global policies related to cybersecurity and digital transformation, with a focus on the impact on regional and national policies
- Increased awareness of the key role of cooperation between Italy and the Western Balkans in order to strengthen cybersecurity expertise of public sector and diplomats from the region
- Advance their knowledge as public sector officials of the crucial importance of cybersecurity focusing on the local context
- Establishment of a Western Balkan Informal Cybersecurity Expert Network
