The School creates strong capacity in national and international governance by offering opportunities of advanced education and training in policy and public management. Its master courses prepare students for high-level positions in government institutions, European and international organizations, industry, private sector consultancies, NGOs and public policy research centres. Currently the School offers master programmes in Italian and English and a graduate summer school.
English Language Masters
Master of Arts in European and Global Affairs (Two Years)
This is a joint partnership with the Department of Politics, University of Sheffield, aimed at those who wants to explore European relations within the context of international society and global public affairs. The Department of Politics at the University of Sheffield has reaffirmed its position among the top four leading politics departments in the country with the results of the Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014. In particular, it has been ranked as the third highest-performing research department in the UK.
Master of Arts in European Studies
The one year MA in European Studies trains officials who are interested in working within the institutions of the European Union or with the national and regional institutions connected with them.
Master of Arts in International Public Affairs
The Master in International Public Affairs is a second-level master's programme to train Italian and foreign top officials who are interested in working within the various networks of the institutions and organizations operating at the international level, i.e. international institutions and non-government organisations, regulatory agencies and pressure groups, and associations that handle international monitoring and consultancy activities.
MA/LLM in Law and Government of the European Union
Promoted jointly by the LUISS Department of Law and the LUISS School of Government, this secondo level advanced master focuses on European Union (EU) legal, institutional and policy issues. The process of Europeanization calls into question the separation between domestic and European legal and policies regimes. This advanced master provides the necessary training to enable graduates in legal and policy affairs to operate in this new context within EU institutions; law firms and private companies; public and private organizations; NGOs and non-profit associations; regional and national institutions; regulatory and consultancy agencies; banks and financial institutions.
Master in Parliamentary Procedures and Legislative Drafting
Funded by the European Commission Erasmus + Programme, this Joint Master Program in Parliamentary Procedures and Legislative Drafting (EUPADRA) is an intense post-graduate course offered by three top-ranked European academic institutions: LUISS Guido Carli (Rome, Italy), Complutense Universidad (Madrid, Spain) and University of London (London, UK). EUPADRA represents the first learning mobility project which allows the study of parliamentary procedures and legislative drafting in three different European capitals, seats of National Parliaments and meeting points of private actors and NGOs working in the sector of parliamentary affairs. The mobility offers participants to benefit from the direct contact with parliamentary officials involved in the Master activities, creating a fundamental "bridge" between theory and practice. Inter alia, study visits to these Chambers will be included in the programme.

Master in Economics and Institutions of Islamic Countries
First in Italy, this master is an advanced one year master for those who wants to acquire advanced skills and knowledge concerning the economic, financial, legal and socio-political developments within the Middle East with a specific focus on Mediterranean region.
Master in Regional Legal and Public Policies
This master provides an innovative training programs for public sector officials and graduates waiting to consolidate their knowledge and experience in the regional studies.
Master in Local Government
Organised by LUISS School of Government, this program aims at providing advanced traininf on local government and policies. Scholarships are available for members of the Italian public administration.
Master in Management and Policies of Public Administration
This master prepares current officials and experts to a leadership carreer in the Italian public administration. It is organised jointly by the LUISS School of Government and the Scuola Superiore della Pubblica Amministrazione (Italy's National School of Public Administration).

Master in Parliament and Public Policies
The Master in Parliament and Public Policy train officials for constitutional national and supranational bodies (the Chamber of Deputies, the Italian Senate, the Presidency of the Republic, the Constitutional Court, the European Parliament), government agencies and local and regional institutions.

Summer Schools
Summer School "Parliamentary Democracy in Europe"
In particular after the Treaty of Lisbon and the recent developments that led to the reform of the European economic governance, the position of the European Parliament, between empowerment and ‘transformation’ of its role, requires to be studied in depth aiming to assess its interactions with citizens and with European and national institutions. This summer school untangles these issues and provides its participants with a map of the current state of the European Union democracy.
