Nei piccoli Comuni italiani vive il 17% della popolazione nazionale ed è racchiuso il 54% della superficie del Paese. Nel confronto tra il 2019 e il 2011 la popolazione residente diminuisce nei Comuni con meno di 5mila abitanti (-3,8%) e aumenta in tutte le altre classi dimensionali, soprattutto nei centri tra i 50mila e i 100mila abitanti (+3,6%) e in quelli con oltre 100mila abitanti (+2,5%). Anche soltanto questi dati sono sufficienti per afferrare l’importanza dei processi di sviluppo e salvaguardia del territorio interno, spesso a rischio spopolamento.

Non è affatto casuale che il Presidente ucraino Zelensky, tra le recenti iniziative politiche e comunicative per contrastare l’invasione avviata dal Cremlino lo scorso febbraio, abbia fatto più volte appello alle minoranze etniche presenti in Russia a rivoltarsi contro Putin. Lo dimostra in questo Policy Brief Carolina de Stefano, sintetizzando alcuni degli argomenti contenuti nel suo libro appena uscito, “Storia del potere in Russia. Dagli zar a Putin” (editrice Morcelliana Scholè).

La nuova legislatura è la prima ad aprirsi dopo la riforma costituzionale del 2020 che ha ridotto il numero dei parlamentari, ora 400 alla Camera dei deputati e 200 (più i senatori a vita e di diritto) al Senato della Repubblica.

The program of the Executive Course is jointly organized by Luiss School of Government and Fondazione Leonardo Med-Or.

Let's start this new journey! 

This morning we met our students from the "Executive Course on Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity in a Global Digital Age: Policy and Management Solutions" organized with Fondazione Leonardo Med-Or. 
After two weeks of online lessons, they joined us in the Eternal City for the final in-presence module. 
Throughout the program, they will have the chance to practice what they have discussed during the previous lessons. 

We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome our new students of European and Global Masters. After briefly explaining the programs, we showed them all the magic spots in Luiss Campus - Viale Romania.

What Times Are We Living In?
